It was the best breakfast I had in Paris Everything was very delicious; between the five of us at the table we tasted pretty much everything It is a small corner bakery and cafe. Despite the small place, they utilize the space very effectively. The staff is friendly and polite, which is not that common in Paris I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area.

Nestled in the heart of Paris’s 15th arrondissement, Shekamou is a charming café that blends the warmth of Persian hospitality with the elegant simplicity of a French bakery. From the moment you step inside this cozy corner on Rue des Entrepreneurs, you feel an inviting atmosphere shaped by friendly staff and a well-thought-out space that feels both intimate and practical, ideal for a casual meal or a productive work session.

The culinary offerings at Shekamou stand out for their thoughtful balance between lightness and satisfaction. Whether you’re stopping by for a well-crafted coffee paired with delicate viennoiseries or seeking authentic Persian comfort through dishes like the hearty Halim or the much-recommended Bandari sandwich, the menu delivers with authentic flavors and generous portions. The Bandari sandwich, in particular, earns high praise for its rich taste and well-balanced spices, perfectly suited for those craving a genuine taste of Iran without overwhelming heat.

What truly resonates is the café’s ability to serve hearty breakfasts and light dinners that never feel too heavy, making it an excellent spot for both locals and travelers looking for affordable yet high-quality meals. It’s in this duality—between a bakery’s finesse and a Persian kitchen’s soul—that Shekamou carves its niche. Customers frequently mention the cheerful service and the welcoming vibe, qualities that add a personal touch often missing in busy Parisian eateries.

In essence, Shekamou is more than just a café; it is a small cultural bridge amid Paris’s bustling streets. It invites you to savor dishes crafted with care and enjoy moments of genuine hospitality. For anyone who values authenticity, great taste, and a cozy ambiance, this hidden gem is worth discovering and returning to time and again.
